
UPDATE: The road has reopened.
BOYNTON BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The Boynton Beach Police Department remains on the scene Monday afternoon of a crash involving a dirtbike near Poinciana Elementary School. Here’s the update provided by Boynton Beach PD: “Boynton Beach Police are currently on scene at a traffic crash at NE 13th Avenue and N Seacrest Boulevard in between MLK Boulevard and Gateway Boulevard.
Northbound traffic is shut down for the time being. Parents picking up children from Poinciana Elementary can access the school from the north by traveling southbound on Seacrest Boulevard. BBPD officers are directing traffic. Drivers should expect delays and seek alternate routes.
Preliminary investigation shows that a dirt bike was traveling north on Seacrest Boulevard. A truck was traveling south on Seacrest Boulevard and attempted to make a left turn on to NE 13th Avenue. Following which the dirt bike impacted the front of the truck.
The operator of the dirt bike has been transported to the hospital by Boynton Beach Fire Rescue in serious condition. The investigation is ongoing.”
