BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A man apparently walking along side Ocean Boulevard early this morning was struck and critically injured by a car. It happened in the 2700 block around 6:35 a.m.
Sources connected to the emergency response tell BocaNewsNow.com that the man was in his 70s and sustained significant injuries. He was rushed to Delray Medical Center as a “trauma alert.” Delray Medical Center is the trauma facility for South Palm Beach County.
We have not heard anything from Boca Raton Police regarding the incident, the investigation, and whether or not charges or citations have or will be issued. We don’t know what led to the crash. No one else was apparently injured. There is no indication that the driver of the vehicle fled the scene.
