PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The victims of the horrific crash outside the Adrenaline Entertainment Center at 7645 Lake Worth Road in Lake Worth remain hospitalized and critically injured a week after the incident. A GoFund me campaign has been launched to help the family of Lisa Park, 32, and her five year old son pay for medical and related bills. Attorney Ryan P. Ingraham issued this statement to BocaNewsNow.com:

“Last week, John Park received a call that no husband or father should ever receive: his wife, Alison, and their 5-year-old son were run over by an SUV in broad daylight and had to be airlifted to St. Mary’s Medical Center. Both Alison and their son have suffered catastrophic, life-threatening injuries, with Alison still in critical condition in the ICU and their son enduring significant trauma in the pediatric unit. This has shattered their world, and the road ahead for their recovery will be long and grueling.”

As BocaNewsNow.com reported shortly after the incident, Alison and her son were walking in a cross walk outside Adrenaline last Saturday afternoon when police say Whitney Bagatta slammed into them. Both were run over. Bagatta has not been charged or cited as of Friday morning. The investigation continues. Here’s what we reported at the time:

“The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office tells BocaNewsNow.com Saturday night that a five-year-old boy and Alison Park, age 32, were struck by the driver of a Ford SUV. They are both from Lantana. The driver is identified as Whitney Bagatta of Via Bolzano in Lake Worth. The child sustained several serious injuries and was airlifted by TraumaHawk to the Saint Mary’s Medical Center pediatric trauma unit. The child was found on the ground and under the striking vehicle. He was first rushed by ambulance from the scene to a field in Wellington where the chopper landed, loaded the child, and took off moments later.

The adult, Lisa Park, was airlifted by a second TraumaHawk chopper to St. Mary’s Medical Center with serious injuries sustained in the crash. She too was found on the ground either under or near the striking vehicle and the child.

Investigators, in an official narrative provided to BocaNewsNow.com, say Bagatta was “traveling northbound through the parking lot. The pedestrians were walking southbound across the parking lot in a pedestrian crosswalk. The driver (of the Ford) began turning left and failed to identify either pedestrian; therefore, the front of (the Ford) impacted into the sides of both pedestrians. They were knocked down in the roadway and the vehicle drove over them.”

At least one person familiar with the investigation says it is believed that Bagatta, with children in her car, only looked one way when she turned the other way into the crosswalk. Police and prosecutors traditionally move slowly to issue citations and/or charges in Florida following critical crashes to ensure that all data is obtained and verified.
