Deren Giordano Also Held For Mental Health Evaluation…

Stalking arrest
Boca Raton’s Deren Giordano is facing multiple stalking charges after alleged violating an order for protection.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A Boca Raton man apparently didn’t get the message when a judge ordered him to stop all contact with a local couple. Now, Deren Giordano of NE 3rd Way in Boca Raton, is residing in the Palm Beach County Jail where bond is set for him at $100,000.

Giordano, 40, was friends at one point with his victims. But then something went wrong and his friends told him they wanted to be friends no more. He allegedly threatened them, may have slashed their tires, sent threatening text messages, and more. The couple obtained an injunction ordering Giordano to stop all contact. He, according to a police report, ignored the injunction and continued to make threats.

Among the texts Giordano allegedly sent: “see you in hell,” and one stating that he hopes the police kill him. He also allegedly sent messages about the police being called, even though Giordano says he never tried to kill the victims.

Giordano is now charged with aggravated stalking after an injunction for protection, stalking, and another injunction violation charge. He is additionally facing a Boca Raton Police Department mental health hold. A judge ordered Giordano to “make an appointment for mental health evaluation within seven days of release, (and) have the appointment within 30 days.” A judge also ordered Giordano to “follow all recommended treatment and take all prescribed medication.”

If Giordano posts bond, he is again ordered to stay away from the alleged victims. The protection injunction has been expended to an “order of no contact.” Giordano, according to his social media profile, attended FAU and works in digital media.
