BOYNTON BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A woman is missing from Boynton Beach Wednesday evening and officials are so concerned that a statewide “Purple Alert” is now in effect for Darlene Rizzo. It’s unclear when Rizzo was last seen, but police believe she may be heading north. Here’s the official alert:

“A Florida Purple Alert has been issued for Darlene Rizzo, last seen in the area of the 3200 block of Old Boynton Road in Boynton Beach, Florida. She may be traveling in a 2001, white Ford Econoline, FL tag number DTP0791. The vehicle has a temporary tag, a “born free” bumper sticker on the rear driver’s side, and may have damage to the front right bumper. Darlene may be traveling northbound on Federal Highway.”

Darlene is 58 years old, is identified as a white female with blue eyes and blonde hair. She is 5’1″ and weighs 95 pounds. A “purple alert” issued for missing people who may suffer from cognitive impairment. Officials did not specify what impairment, if any, Darlene may be living with.
