BROWARD COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A Broward County man is missing Monday morning and is now the subject of a statewide “Purple Alert.” A Purple Alert is activated for someone who is mentally or cognitively impaired.
According to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Malaki Bradshaw is 22 years old. He is identified as black male with black hair and brown eyes. He is 5’11” and weighs 220 pounds. He lives in Hollywood, FL. This is the official information issued as part of the Purple Alert.
”A Florida Purple Alert has been issued for Malaki Bradshaw, last seen in the area of the 4120th block of Adams Street in Hollywood, Florida.He was last seen wearing a black Nike sweatshirt, black joggers, and coral/pink Crocs. Malaki has tattoos on his left arm, back of left hand, right arm, and back of right hand. He may be traveling in a 2021, red Kia Forte, FL tag number RBGZ51. Malaki may be traveling northbound in the Orlando, Florida area. He may be traveling towards Tennessee.”

The Florida Purple Alert is used to assist in the location of missing adults suffering from a mental or cognitive disability that is not Alzheimer’s disease or a dementia-related disorder; an intellectual disability or a developmental disability; a brain injury; other physical, mental or emotional disabilities that are not related to substance abuse; or a combination of any of these and whose disappearance poses a credible threat of immediate danger or seriously bodily harm.
