Armed Robbery In November. Cops Say They Know The Gunman’s Identity.

BOYNTON BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Police in Boynton Beach say they now have a suspect in the November armed robbery of a Jersey Mike’s in the city. The man was captured on surveillance camera video. Police asked for tips. He has been identified as Willie Kemp. Here’s what Boynton Beach PD told BocaNewsNow.com Tuesday afternoon:
“On November 26, 2024, BBPD asked the public for assistance in identifying a suspect in an armed robbery that occurred on November 21 at Jersey Mike’s, where the suspect entered the business armed with a knife and demanded money from the register. Kemp is currently being held at the Palm Beach County Jail on additional charges.”
Here is the original request for information made by police shortly after the incident:
“The Boynton Beach Police Department needs your help identifying a suspect in an armed robbery that occurred at 9 p.m. Thursday, November 21 at the Jersey Mike’s at 1780 N. Congress Avenue. The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 35 to 45 years old, wearing a black facial covering, a white, long-sleeve shirt with graphics, a blue T-shirt underneath, black Aeropostale sweatpants and black sneakers”.
Willie Kemp’s home address was not immediately available. We are awaiting the booking to be completed with the Palm Beach County Jail.
