DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — We don’t know if Kings Point Delray Beach is advertising for residents in “Future Criminal Monthly,” but for the second time in days, and for the 61st time since the start of 2023, a resident of the senior living community has been jailed. This time, it’s Melanie Joy Ulrich, 54, of Normandy T.

According to jail and arrest records reviewed by BocaNewsNow.com, Ulrich was driving in Greenacres when she allegedly stopped at a traffic light and wouldn’t start driving again when it turned green. A PBSO deputy happened to be among those waiting to move on. But couldn’t. That deputy stopped Ulrich and believed she was driving under the influence of something. A subsequent breath test allegedly revealed that Ulrich’s breath alcohol content was .110 and .118. The legal limit is .08.

Ulrich, like so many other Kings Point Delray Beach residents, was taken into custody and booked into the Palm Beach County Jail. She eventually was released pending trial.
