NOW 62 ARRESTS SINCE 2023, 12 THIS YEAR

DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — If you’re looking for alleged criminals in South Palm Beach County, look no further than Kings Point. The senior living community has now logged 62 resident arrests since 2023, 42 since 2024, and 12 this year. Just days after he was arrested on a battery charge, Kings Point Delray Beach resident Anthony Perkins is back in the Palm Beach County Jail again.
Perkins, just 25, is significantly younger than the typical resident of a senior living community. As it was when we reported on his first arrest days ago, it remains unclear why he is using a “Normandy S” address as his home address. Normandy S is a section of Kings Point.

West Palm Beach Police say they arrested Perkins Saturday night. He is charged with “Simple Assault — Assault On Specified Personnel.” The arrest report was still being processed late Sunday afternoon. We do know that a mental health assessment was ordered by a judge as a condition of his release, in addition to a $1,000 bond. He remains locked up Sunday.
Perkins rejoins the list he joined last week — a list of alleged criminals living in the Kings Point Delray Beach community. Among them: accused sex offenders, alleged drunk drivers, residents accused of physical assault, residents accused of downloading child pornography, residents accused of (and at least one convicted of) extreme violence, and residents accused of weapons offenses. According to unofficial records maintained by BocaNewsNow.com, there is no other senior living community with more residents jailed over the past several years than Kings Point.
