PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A bicycle event Sunday morning will lead to closures on Lyons Road . Palm Beach County public works officials issued this advisory on Thursday:
>>Northbound Lyons Road will be closed between Forest Hill Boulevard (S.R. 882) and Dillman Road. Northbound traffic on Lyons Road will be detoured to Southern Boulevard (S.R. 80/U.S. 98) via Forest Hill Boulevard (S.R. 882) and S.R. 7 (U.S 441).
Traffic will be reduced to serve local traffic only on Dillman Road from Lyons Road to Marginal Road, Marginal Road from Dillman Road to Pioneer Road, Pioneer Road from Marginal Road to S. Benoist Farms Road, S. Benoist Farms Road from Pioneer Road to Southern Boulevard (S.R. 80/U.S.98), Pioneer Road west of S. Cleary Road to S. Jog Road, S. Cleary Road from Pioneer Road to Dillman Road, and Dillman Road from S. Cleary Road to S. Jog Road.
The following lanes will be closed: The westbound right lane on Forest Hill Boulevard (S.R. 882) from Lyons Road to S. Jog Road, the eastbound right lane on Southern Boulevard (S.R. 80/U.S. 98) from S. Benoist Farms Road to S. Jog Road, the southbound right lane on S. Jog Road from Southern Boulevard (S.R. 80/U.S. 98) to Pioneer Road and the southbound right lane on S. Jog Road from Dillman Road to Forest Hill Boulevard (S.R. 882).
Traffic along the route will be assisted by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Department. <<
