BOYNTON BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — I-95 is closed Monday morning south of Hypoluxo Road. All traffic southbound is being diverted off at Hypoluxo. Traffic can re-enter I-95 at Boynton Beach Boulevard.
The closure is due to a fatal crash on I-95 around 1:30 Monday morning. Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene and immediately shut down the roadway. There was no immediate information about the crash.
Traffic cameras in the area suggest that traffic may be slowly moving again as of 7 a.m. While FDOT says that I -95 is officially “closed” in the area, it appears one or two lanes may be in the process of reopening. Backups are significant. You are encouraged to find another route this morning.
Check back for updates.
