Foreclosure Lawsuit
A homeowner in the Wycliffe Golf and Country Club allegedly owes more than $30,000 in dues and restaurant fees.

WELLINGTON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Wycliffe Golf and Country Club in Wellington would very much like homeowners Neil and Sandra Stackel to pay the more than $30,000 they apparently owe. The fees are for dues, dining, late fees, and more. The Stackels, according to a complaint just filed with the Palm Beach County Clerk of Courts, have owed money for months if not years. The Country Club says it’s time to pay or leave.

In a lien of foreclosure filed by attorneys for the Wycliffe Golf and Country Club Homeowners’ Association, the list of unpaid fees is long. It’s also published below. According to the complaint, in just one year alone, the Stackels have racked up $34,127.54 in unpaid fees: “Club dues, special assessments, fees, charges, taxes, quarterly maintenance assessments and late fees.”

The home in question, on Royal Devon Way, was purchased in December of 2004 for $378,908. It has a current market value of $443,571 according to the Palm Beach County Property Appraiser. It is listed for sale at $425,000 according to Zillow.

The Wycliffe Golf and Country Club HOA is represented by Daniel Wasserstein, Esq. No attorney was listed for Stackels. Read the complete complaint below.
