DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A Kings Point Delray Beach resident is facing foreclosure over slightly more than $5,000 in allegedly unpaid assessments. The lien of foreclosure was just filed in Palm Beach County Circuit Court.
According to documents obtained by BocaNewsNow.com, Leslie Kranz was notified multiple times that she had to pay the recurring monthly $686 assessment for her unit in the Normandy J section of Kings Point, but repeatedly refused. The association that governs her section of Kings Point — “Normandy J Association” — apparently got tired of waiting and initiated foreclosure proceedings.
Kranz, according to court documents, owes $469 for September of of 2024, $2058 for assessments between October and December, $1830 for assessments between January and March, administrative fees, mail fees, and attorney fees. The total: $5,245.50.
Normandy J Assocation is represented by the Boca Raton law firm of Poliakoff Becker. Counsel for Ms. Kranz was not recorded with the Palm Beach County Clerk of Courts as of Monday morning. Under Florida law, homeowners in communities with associations are required to pay all dues and assessments levied by a governing body.
