Robert Hale is missing from Palm Beach County. He is the subject of a statewide Purple Alert.

UPDATE: Police Friday morning say Mr. Hale has been located.

PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A search is on Thursday night for Robert Hale. The 78-year-old Palm Beach County resident has seemingly vanished, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office is concerned. A state-wide “purple alert” is now in effect.

According to the Florida Department of Law Enfrocement Missing and Endangered Persons Information Clearinghouse, Hale is 78, white, bald, has brown eyes, is 5’10”, and weighs 120 pounds. He is from West Palm Beach.

This is the official narrative transmitted as part of the purple alert: “A Florida Purple Alert has been issued for Robert Hale, last seen in the area of the 90th block of Canterbury D in West Palm Beach. He was last seen wearing a white shirt and dark colored shorts. He may be traveling in a 2019 silver Nissan Sentra with Florida tag number QBUJ96. Robert may be in the Miramar, Florida area.”
