BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — City of Boca Raton trash collection customers will NOT have service on Thursday, June 19th. While Palm Beach County residents WILL have service, the City of Boca Raton announced Monday that there will be no sanitation service on the holiday. Anyone who lives IN the City of Boca Raton and normally has trash collected on Thursdays will this week have it collected on Wednesday. Friday service for city residents will be unchanged. If you are confused about where you live, use the official City of Boca Raton resident map to determine if you live in the city or unincorporated Palm Beach County.

City of Boca Raton offices will be closed for the Juneteenth holiday, reopening for business as usual on Friday. The Boca Raton Community Center will be closed on Thursday; Sugar Sand Community Center will be open from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., the Swim and Racquet Community Center will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and the Sugar Sand Park Carousel will operate from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.
