
PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office is now investing human remains found in the back yard of a house in Palm Springs — near Lake Worth Beach. PBSO issued this advisory to BocaNewsNow.com Friday afternoon:
>> On June 19, 2025, at approximately 2:48 p.m., officers from the Village of Palm Springs Police Department responded to a report from a citizen who discovered human remains in the backyard of a residence located in the 3900 block of Lakewood Road, Village of Palm Springs. Palm Springs PD subsequently contacted the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO), for assistance.
On Friday, June 20, 2025, detectives from PBSO’s Violent Crimes Division, along with a K9 cadaver team, Crime Scene personnel, representatives from Florida Gulf Coast University, and officers from the Village of Palm Springs Police Department, responded to the scene to conduct a thorough investigation.
Human remains were located. The Medical Examiner’s Office is currently on scene to recover the remains. Detectives are in the early stages of this active investigation. Additional information will be released as it becomes available. <<
