On Sunday, June 22, 2025, at 10:06 p.m., deputies responded to a welfare check in the 900 block of Lake Avenue in the City of Lake Worth Beach. Upon arrival, deputies located an adult male deceased with apparent stab wounds.
Detectives from the Violent Crimes Division responded and are investigating this incident as a homicide. A person of interest has been identified. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
The 900 block of Lake Avenue is the same block as City Hall and part of the business and entertainment district in Lake Worth Beach. The crime follows a mass shooting where two people died just blocks away in December. Read that story here.
