BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A home owned by disbarred Boca Raton Attorney Steven Slootsky sustained serious damage Monday morning in a fire. The home, at 3054 NW 60th Street, is in the Seasons community. The first call for emergency help was made around 9:50.
According to Boca Raton Fire Rescue which issued a statement to BocaNewsNow.com: “crews arrived within minutes to find smoke and flames coming from the second floor of the single-family home. The responding crews worked diligently and successfully put the fire out. All occupants of were out of the home prior to the fire department’s arrival. No occupants or firefighters were injured.”

Slootsky entered a guilty plea back in 2017 to multiple counts of patient brokering and other related offenses. According to a case file: “Slootsky pled guilty on October 23, 2017, to 15 felony counts including Organized Scheme to Defraud, Solicitation, Patient Brokering and Unlawful Use of Two-Way Communication Device in criminal proceedings.”
Steven Slootsky was disbarred, then later requested to be reinstated in the Florida Bar saying he was cooperating with the Statewide Prosecutor in the matter. Public records reviewed by BocaNewsNow.com suggest that the Florida Supreme Court authorized his readmission ten years after the disbarment — meaning he is eligible to practice law again in 2027. Slotsky’s current record shows that he is “not eligible to practice law in Florida.”

The Boca Raton Fire Department says the cause of the house fire is under investigation. The Palm Beach County Property Appraiser says the “total market value” of the home is $1,606,812. The Zestimate from Zillow is $2,257,200.
