AWKWARD: Kristopher Lawrence and Amy Davis Set To Wed On June 28th. She Wanted Him. So Did Police.
BEST WEDDING GIFT EVER: $10,000 BOND.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A Boca Raton man set to be married in just days is now facing a sex offender charge after he allegedly absconded from a police department in California. Kristopher Scott Lawrence was taken into custody in Boca Raton on Friday. He was released the following day on $10,000 bond.
According to information obtained by BocaNewsNow.com, Boca Raton Police received a tip on June 3rd from the Santa Ana Police Department in California that Kristopher Lawrence was living at 2856 NE 5th Avenue. Lawrence, according to Santa Ana Police, was convicted on one count of sexual abuse in the third degree and three counts of sexual abuse in the first degree — each case involving a minor. He was jailed in Oregon for three years, then required to register as a sex offender. He allegedly never updated his registration after living in — and then leaving — California.
In an exceptionally well-written police report by Boca PD’s Justin Desiderato, Lawrence was placed under surveillance multiple times at the Boca Raton house. He was allegedly watched exiting and entering the home repeatedly over multiple days. Noted Officer Desiderato: “These repeated entries, conducted without hesitation and through apparent use of a key or other means of authorized access, are indicative of the subject maintaining key holder status. Based on the frequency and manner of access, coupled with the time of day of his departures, it is reasonable to conclude that Kristopher Lawrence is residing at the residence on a full-time basis.”

Police observed Kris Lawrence enter and exit the house multiple times with Amy Davis, the woman he is apparently set to marry. Her Florida registration lists “Kristopher Lowrems” as her emergency contact. Wrote police: “This bears the same first name as the offender and a last name that, while misspelled, is phonetically identical to Lawrence’s known surname. Both the registrant address and the emergency contact address were listed as 2856 NE 5th Avenue in Boca Raton.”

And then there’s the wedding. Wrote police: “An open-source internet search led to a wedding profile hosted on Honeyfund, a wedding registry website. The created page shows a wedding date of June 28, 2025, and features multiple photographs matching the known descriptions of both Lawrence and Davis.”
Kristopher Lawrence was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail on charges of “Sex Offender Violation — Failure To Register, Report, Provide Info,” and “Sex Offender Violation — Fail To Report Driver License Office Change Name.” He is now out on bond.

Amy – Hopefully you don’t go thru with wedding – looks like you got lucky!
Praying for both of them. Whoever wrote this article obviously has no clue who either Kris or Amy is; they are beautiful people who have faithfully gave their lives to the Lord and is serving Him now, helping countless number of people in the boca area. I will stand firm in my support of them both
