DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — James Bopp from Babylon, New York is facing multiple charges in Delray Beach following an incident at Sandbar (40 South Ocean Blvd.) News reports indicate that Bopp is an ex-physical education teacher who left teaching after multiple arrests in the Empire State.

Here is the Delray Beach arrest report obtained by BocaNewsNow.com:

>> The following incident occurred in The City of Delray Beach, Palm Beach County, FI: On 6/27/2025, I was dispatched to a call in reference to a disturbance at 40 South Ocean Blvd (Sand Bar). Prior to my arrival, dispatcher advised that a white male refused to leave and will not pay his tab, which was later discovered to be a total of $191.00.

Upon arrival, we later met with the white male who was identified as James Patrick Bopp, I could immediately smell the presence of alcohol emitting from his person. Bopp’s speech was slurred, and he had difficulty following directions. We asked Bopp several times if he would pay his bar tab, and officers waited several minutes to allow Bopp to pay his Tab. During that waiting period, Bopp would go into his bag several times as though he was looking for money, but then he would go back to talking to officers on the scene.

During such time, the encounter with Bopp was disturbing the flow of business and the customers inside the business. Bopp began yelling loudly and becoming disruptive. Multiple customers had to stop what they were doing. While Bopp was placed under arrest he would yell out obscenity or racial slur to me by calling me a “fat nigger” and a boy.

Due to the above stated facts, probable cause exists to charge James Patrick Bopp, FSS 856.011 Disorderly Intoxication and FSS 509.151. Defraud Innkeeper, FSS 877.03 Disorderly Conduct. <<

Bopp was released on bond. A court date is pending.

  1. What’s with the MAGA response. Come on- we all have to do better than this feeble retort. Blatant racism is not political. This post is horrible – both the racist and jsb07078
