UPDATE 12:30 p.m. July 3, 2025: Vanessa Gallegos is no longer with Gift of Life Marrow Registry in Boca Raton. The organization says that it parted ways with her last year, despite a police report saying it is her current employer.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Vanessa Gallegos of Delray Beach is (update: now former) marketing specialist with “Gift of Life Marrow Registry” in Boca Raton. If you take a Boca Raton Police Department report as fact, she is also someone who is having such a difficult time letting her ex-boyfriend go, that she sent him and his now wife an HIV Test, anonymous alerts about STDs from “TellYourPartner.org,” information about how to have their unborn baby adopted, and people seeking physical encounters from a dating app.

Gallegos, of Monroe Road in Delray Beach, was arrested last week and charged with fraud and illegal use of credit cards. While the years of bizarre behavior, phone calls, HIV tests, STD alerts, and adoption calls led to a ten year protective order issued against her until 2034, it was Gallego’s alleged use of her ex’s credit cards — to buy flowers — that led to her arrest. PBSO, handling the credit card fraud portion of the case, took her into custody on June 27th. She was released on $10,000 bond.

Vanessa Gallegos is no stranger to the Palm Beach County Court system, according to public records reviewed by BocaNewsNow.com. She faced two counts of cyberstalking and stalking last year. She was charged with contempt of court in May of 2024 — but that charge was dropped. She is now facing fraud charges.

According to an investigative report, Gallegos used a VOIP service to mask her identity as she allegedly arranged for the HIV tests, the adoption services, the STD warnings, and more to be sent to her ex-boyfriend and his wife. Even with that “masking,” Detectives with the Boca Raton Police Department and the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office were allegedly able to identify her as the person initiating the contacts.
