UPDATE: The Broward Sheriff’s Office confirmed to BocaNewsNow.com that the missing man has been found dead.

“According to BSO Missing Persons Unit detectives, Christian Nogueira was found deceased in a body of water near the 5700 block of Northwest 61st Place in Parkland on Saturday, July 5. A missing persons alert was issued for Nogueira earlier Saturday after he was last seen around 9:35 p.m. on Friday, July 4th, in the same area.

Although foul play is not suspected, BSO’s Homicide and Crime Scene units will investigate Nogueira’s death, and the Broward County Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the cause and manner of his death.”

>> According to detectives, Christian Nogueira, 27, was last seen around 9:35 p.m. on Friday, July 4th, in the 5700 block of Northwest 61st Place in Parkland. Nogueira is approximately 5’11” tall and weighs about 190 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a dark gray t-shirt, navy shorts and black flip-flops. 

According to his family, Nogueira has a heart condition and takes medication.
