BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Ben’s Kosher Deli at 9942 Clint Moore Road — at the intersection of Clint Moore Road and U.S. 441 — was cited for multiple “high priority violations” by health inspector reporting to the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation. The restaurant was not ordered to close.

High Priority – Dishmachine chlorine sanitizer not at proper minimum strength. Discontinue use of dishmachine for sanitizing and set up manual sanitization until dishmachine is repaired and sanitizing properly. Observed Dishwasher (Chlorine 0ppm) **Warning**

High Priority – Time/temperature control for safety food cold held at greater than 41 degrees Fahrenheit. Observed in Two for reach in across from ware washing area ; chili (46F). Per operator food not prepared or portioned today .Per operator food held in unit less than four hours. Operator placed food in walk in cooler to quick chill. **Corrective Action Taken** **Warning**

High Priority – Time/temperature control for safety food, other than whole meat roast, hot held at less than 135 degrees Fahrenheit. Observed at steam table at front counter sauerkrauts (98-121F). Per operator food held in unit less than four hours. Observed not enough water in steam table. Operator placed on stove to reheat to 165F **Corrective Action Taken** **Warning**

Intermediate – Handwash sink used for purposes other than handwashing. Observed box of gloves stored in handwashing sink. Operator removed. **Corrected On-Site** **Repeat Violation** **Warning**

The inspection was conducted on June 27th. A follow-up inspection on June 30th yielded no violations. Ben’s Kosher Deli was ordered to close following an inspection in February of 2024, but has been trouble-free since.
