DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — An attempted bank heist Thursday afternoon in the 4800 block of Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach led to the arrest of an alleged bank robber. The Delray Beach Police Department issued a statement to BocaNewsNow.com around 8 p.m. Thursday evening — we are publishing it verbatim:

>> At 5 p.m. today, a man robbed a bank in the 4800-block of Atlantic Avenue. Thanks to the quick and coordinated efforts of our officers, they set up a perimeter in the area, located and arrested Kevin Robertson. We would like to extend our gratitude to deputies from the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office, their helicopter unit, and the assistance of the FBI.

“Thanks to our officers and everyone involved, this suspect was quickly apprehended,” said Interim Chief Darrell Hunter. “I’m proud of the team effort that keeps our community safe.”

Robertson, 36, is the same individual who committed another bank robbery on Wednesday afternoon (7-16-2025) in the 100-block of East Linton Boulevard in Delray Beach <<
