>> The Palm Beach County Community Services Department and Faith In Action PBC are excited to present their second Building Hope Initiative, Faith In Action: Transforming Faith-Based Property into Hope. Learn more about ways faith-based organizations can help break the cycle of homelessness by providing support services. All faith-based organizations, nonprofits and individuals looking to help end homelessness in Palm Beach County are encouraged to attend.
Monday, July 21 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Church In the Palms, 3812 S. Jog Road, Greenacres, FL 33467
Attendees will participate in facilitated group discussions on how to align the mission of their faith organization with the needs of our community, including providing resources to our most vulnerable neighbors.
The agenda will include facilitated small group discussions on Aligning the Mission, Partnering and Envisioning. Throughout the event, there will be brief presentations by community leaders who provide services such as: food distribution, mobile showers and laundry facilities, mental health support, employment and housing guidance and day centers for the unhoused. Lunch will be included.
