The heat index could hit 107 in Boca Raton on Wednesday.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The “real feel” temperatures in Palm Beach County Wednesday are expected to again be extreme, with forecasters warning of a heat index of 107 in Boca Raton Wednesday afternoon, 106 in Boynton Beach and Delray Beach, and 110 in the area of Lion Country Safari. The good news: after another day of the intense heat, the area should be a bit cooler on Friday and Saturday.

Today: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 5pm. Sunny, with a high near 93. Heat index values as high as 106. Calm wind becoming southeast 5 to 9 mph in the afternoon. 

Tonight: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 8pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 78. Southeast wind 5 to 7 mph becoming calm after midnight. 

Thursday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 93. Heat index values as high as 106. Calm wind becoming east 5 to 8 mph in the afternoon.
