DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Police in Delray Beach early Friday arrested and charged Matthew Fake of the 4000 block of 5th Avenue in nearby Atlantis with multiple charges after he allegedly threatened a woman who a judge told him to stay away from.
Fake, 55, Is accused of sending multiple messages to the woman, including: “Please don’t call the police. Please don’t call the police. I’m soft when it comes to you.”
Other messages include: “Don’t call the police… you shouldn’t live in fear.” “Just let me talk to you.” “Please don’t call the police, I’m hanging on by a thread.” And “You have the power, you could f–k me of epic, just let me talk to you through music.”

Apparently trying to speak to the woman through music, Fake is accused of sending a link to a YouTube video of”The Story Behind Coldplay’s Fix You.”
The music for Fake stopped just after midnight Friday when he was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail. Bond is set at $65,000 on the stalking and contempt of court charges, but no bond is set on the intimidation charge. A court date is pending.
