BROWARD COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A drive-by shooting in North Broward County remains under investigation as police release video of the gunfire. We link to the video, below. Here’s the official statement from the Broward Sheriff’s Office:
>> Detectives with the Broward Sheriff’s Office Violent Crimes Unit are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the subjects involved in a drive-by shooting in Pompano Beach.
At approximately 3:30 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 6, Broward County Regional Communications received reports of a shooting near the 1300 block of Northwest 27th Avenue. BSO Pompano Beach deputies responded and learned that unknown subjects fired a barrage of bullets at a residence in the area.
Surveillance video of the incident shows a light-colored vehicle driving by the home. A few seconds later, the car is seen reversing back into view. Two armed subjects are then seen exiting the vehicle and firing more than a dozen rounds into the home before fleeing the area.
Detectives say no one was injured during the shooting; however, they are urging anyone with information to contact BSO Violent Crimes Det.
