UPDATE: ALL TRAFFIC DIVERTED OFF OF I-95.

UPDATE: 8:29 a.m. — FDOT reports all lanes are now open.
UPDATE: 6:42 a.m. — ALL TRAFFIC is now being diverted off of I-95 at Yamato Road, according to an FDOT alert issued at 6:41 a.m.
UPDATE AT 6:30 a.m. — Traffic remains at a near standstill in the area. There appears to be one lane moving in the express lanes.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — An overturned tractor trailer in the area of Yamato Road northbound is slowing traffic just before 6 a.m. Monday. The crash occurred around 5:40 a.m.

BocaNewsNow.com has learned there are no injuries but the tractor trailer is leaking fuel. It is blocking all northbound “main lanes” of I-95. The express lanes appear to still be flowing.

Boca Raton Fire Rescue is on the scene. Florida Highway Patrol has been dispatched to the scene as of 5:45 a.m. Expect significant delays northbound for the next hour or so. FDOT cameras are already showing significant delays in the area.

Witnesses say the truck blew a tire and flipped. The driver is reportedly fine. Incredibly, no other vehicles were involved despite heavy traffic as the morning rush period begins. Check back for updates.
