DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The “Death By Pizza” location at 15065 South State Road 7 in Delray Beach was just cited by the Florida Department of Health for six violations. The restaurant was not ordered to close.

Per operator soup was made yesterday. Observed cooling in large container. Observed cooling covered. See stop sale. **Warning**

High Priority – Employee touched soiled surface and then engaged in food preparation, handled clean equipment or utensils, or touched unwrapped single-service items without washing hands. Observed employee touch soiled wiping cloth with gloves on and then proceeded to touch ready to eat cheese out of pizza station cooler without washing hands and changing gloves. Intermediate – Food being cooled by nonapproved method as evidenced by inadequate rate of cooling during time of inspection. Observed in flip top cooler provolone cheese 51F at 11:30 to 51F at 11:50. At this current rate of cooling food will not reach 41F or below within 4 hrs. Observed cooling covered. Observed food stored past the fill line. Basic – Opened employee beverage container in a cold holding unit with food to be served to customers. Observed below flip top cooler opened bottle of water stored inside cooler near food. Operator removed. **Corrected On-Site** **Warning**

While Death By Pizza was not ordered to close as a result of these findings, the restaurant is now subject to an unannounced follow-up inspection.
