BOYNTON BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The City of Boynton Beach invites the public to attend the Seacrest Boulevard Passport to Safety event from 5 – 9 p.m. Friday, September 5, at Centennial Park & Amphitheater in Boynton Beach. The Passport to Safety event is part of the city’s monthly First Friday celebration.

The city is seeking residents’ input on The Seacrest Corridor Plan, which outlines a future project stretching from Woolbright Road to Boynton Beach Boulevard on Seacrest Boulevard. The project will transform the corridor into a “complete street” that is safer and more accessible for the public, including pedestrians, cyclists, drivers and transit riders.

To encourage participation, attendees who complete the Seacrest Corridor Survey and collect stamps from all passport stations will be entered into a raffle to win a brand-new bicycle.

“This event is a fun way to get the community involved while gathering meaningful input that will guide project decisions,” Deputy City Manager Andrew Mack said. “Your feedback is essential in making Seacrest Boulevard safer and more welcoming for everyone.”

First Friday is a family-friendly event with live music, food and vendors offered on the first Friday of each month.  Seacrest Corridor Plan organizers will add interactive activities, informational project boards and an opportunity to learn more about the corridor’s future. Project team members will be present to answer questions, share early findings of crash analysis and gather valuable community insight. For feedback and questions, complete the survey online at survey.zohopublic.com/zs/UVfwJ9. (Provided by City of Boynton Beach)
