BOYNTON BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A Boynton Beach man involved in a one-car crash is dead, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office. Samuel Benjamin of Boynton Place Circle died Monday morning.
PBSO says Benjamin, 45, was driving his Infiniti FX35 northbound on South Jog Road, south of Gateway Boulevard in the inside travel lane.
“For unknown reasons, Benjamin failed to maintain control of his Infiniti, ran off the roadway mounting the center median, and impacted a standing tree,” said police. “Post collision, the Infiniti exited the median and came to rest facing north in the northbound travel lanes. Benjamin was pronounced dead on the scene.”
Police say no other vehicles were involved. The crash took place around 11:19 a.m. Benjamin was pronounced dead at 11:41 a.m.
