Sheryl Jordan Was 78. Hospitalized For More Than Month After Crash.

DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A 78-year-old woman critically injured in a crash on Linton Boulevard has died. Sheryl Anne Jordan of Lake Hibiscus Drive in Delray Beach died on Tuesday.

The crash occurred on August 17th around 4:30 in the afternoon. According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, a 2024 Jeep Wrangler was traveling eastbound on Linton Boulevard in the middle through lane. At the same time, Sheryl Jordan was driving a 2019 Ford Escape northbound on Las Verdes Way and drove through the intersection. The Jeep impacted the left side of the Ford Escape.

Sheryl Jordan was transported from the scene to Delray Medical Center where she was eventually transferred to hospice care before dying on September 23rd at 10:30 p.m. No charges have been filed. Police did not say which vehicle had the right of way at the time of the crash.
