
BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — (Business Announcement) — Corina Valdez, an experienced hair professional, will open Parle de Cheveux, a new full-service hair salon, on October 1 at 6000 Glades Road, Suite 1111A in Town Center at Boca Raton. The salon’s name means “hair talk” in French. Valdez came up with the concept after a recent visit to France. Services will include men’s cuts, women’s cuts, color, highlights, extensions, perms and face waxing, The salon will also offer Magic Sleek, a safe, non-toxic permanent straightener that is the only formaldehyde free straightening product in the US.
“I was so inspired when visiting France. It is so fashion forward in style, food and the arts,” Valdez said. “I decided to make the salon look like a Parisian version.”

Services will include men’s, women’s cuts, colors, highlights, extensions, perms, face waxing, and offer Magic Sleek, a permanent straightener that is formaldehyde free, safe and non-toxic. Parle de Cheveux will also carry a variety of extensions in stock so customers can get extensions right away and don’t have to wait.
Parle de Cheveux will carry every Oribe product, which is considered the Rolls Royce of hair products and is a vegan line that is paraben free.
“This is going to be a creative environment where hairdressers can innovate. The talented hair professionals at the salon will also have a strong front desk support staff,” Valdez said. “It’s unusual to have a salon owner be a younger, hip hairstylist. Younger people don’t generally own major salons.” Valdez is 38.
Valdez has been a hairstylist for over fifteen years. She has extensive training by Oribe and Bumble and Bumble and a number of other certifications.
Valdez went to hair school at Hollywood Institute, Hollywood, Florida to study Cosmetology and worked at a salon in Asheville, NC. for ten years, participating in continuing education every month. Not a lot of salons in South Florida provide continuing education but Valdez plans to do so. Previously, she worked at Monaco and Tricho.
