BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Boca Bridges resident Sandra Beyer, who lives in a home valued at $3.6M in the gated G.L. Homes community, is suing her HOA after she was cited for allegedly letting her dog poop on HOA property.

According to the complaint obtained by BocaNewsNow.com and which you can read below, Beyer was walking her two dogs when another homeowner allegedly photographed one of the dogs while it was defecating. That homeowner is accused of sending the photograph to a member of the HOA’s Board of Directors — claiming that Beyer violated rules by not disposing of pet waste. The photos, according to the suit, led to a notice of violation for Beyer.

Instead of paying the $50 fine and moving on, Sandra Beyer — literally — opted to turn it into a major case. She retained an attorney and demanded records kept by the HOA that she claims will show that multiple people were part of the “conspiracy” to have her sanctioned. In fact, in what some may interpret as an admission — or at the very least an attempt to deflect the claim against her — her attorney wrote:

“On any given day, it is possible to drive the Boca Bridges community and find several rule violations.”

The suit then claims that the sanction committee played fast and loose with facts and claims. Beyer alleges that it was revealed during the sanction committee hearing that someone involved with the case had improperly entered Beyer’s property — or home — in a quest for dog poop evidence. The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office was ultimately brought in, but there is no evidence that anyone was arrested, charged, or cited with entering Sandra Beyer’s home or property.

We encourage you to read the complete complaint which states Ms. Beyer suffered “public humiliation” and “defamation” as a result of what she says is an inaccurate photo of her dog pooping and the claim that she didn’t clean up after the dog.

Boca Bridges has not responded to the lawsuit which is filed in Palm Beach County Circuit Court where the statutory minimum claim is $50,000.
