Crime Scene Vans Rarely Seen In Front Of Royal Palm Yacht And Country Club…
BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Boca Raton Police are investigating two notable situations from the past day — both of which generated a number of readers asking us “what’s going on?”
A death investigation in Royal Palm Yacht and Country Club led to a crime scene van and multiple police cars at the normally crime-free high-end community Thursday evening. Boca Raton Police confirmed the death investigation but so far aren’t saying anything else — other than the public isn’t at risk. We don’t know who died, how they died, where in Royal Palm Yacht and Country Club they died, or if there’s anything potentially criminal about the death.
Boca Raton Police are also investigating what appears to be a drug-induced crash on Airport Road. That happened around 6 p.m. on Thursday. We’re told injuries from the crash itself were not severe, but that the driver in one of the vehicles was apparently found unconscious due to a drug overdose. Sources tell us that paramedics at the scene administered Narcan in an effort to counter the effects of the drugs. The driver was taken to an area hospital. It’s unclear if the driver survived.
We will update this preliminary reporting once we learn more from Boca Raton PD.

UPDATE 5:55 p.m. Friday, October 17, 2025: Boca PD just told us that no charges have been filed at this point regarding the accident on Airport Road. And the death in Royal Palm Yacht and Country Club is now considered “not suspicious.”
