UPDATE 2:20 p.m. — The scene is clearing. We expect an update from PBSO later this afternoon or this evening. The investigation continues.

UPDATE: 12:50 p.m. — The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office tells BocaNewsNow.com that no one was killed in the crash and that no one is expected to die as a result of injuries from the crash.

UPDATE 12:48 p.m. — All patients have now been transported to area hospitals.

The injury count may surpass ten.

BocaNewsNow.com has learned that the crash was first reported around 12:15 p.m. Traffic cameras in the area show multiple vehicles involved. We have learned that at least 13 emergency vehicles have been dispatched to the scene or are there as of 12:25 p.m.

Initial reports from the scene indicate that at least three children and four adults were injured in the crash. It is has been declared a mass casualty incident. The injury count is expected to rise. Victims are being rushed to area hospitals including Delray Medical Center, the area’s trauma center. Check back for updates.
