
PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A bicyclist was killed early Friday morning after being hit by a car on Indiantown Road in Palm Beach County. The collision occurred around 1:23 a.m. in the 9350 block of Indiantown Road. The cyclist, identified as Sean Norris, 38, of Jupiter Farms, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Division log entry, Norris was riding his bicycle westbound in the center of the outside lane on Indiantown Road. A 2020 Tesla, driven by Wyatt Thomas, 21, of Jupiter, was traveling in the same direction, approaching the cyclist from behind in the outside lane.
The front of the Tesla impacted the rear of the bicycle, causing Norris to be ejected and vault over the top of the car. Thomas, the driver of the Tesla, came to a controlled stop west of the area of impact. Thomas was wearing a seatbelt and reported no injuries. Sean Norris, according to police, was not wearing any safety equipment.
The fatal crash is under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office Traffic Division. No charges have been filed.
