BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The City of Boca Raton is set to honor local heroes this evening with its annual “Red, White, & Boca” Veterans Day celebration. The free event runs from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, November 11, at the Mizner Park Amphitheater. Residents and visitors are invited to an evening of live music, guest speakers, and activities designed to pay tribute to all who have served in the armed forces.

The celebration features a packed schedule of entertainment and attractions. The festivities kick off at 4 p.m. with a Classic Car Show and a Veterans Marketplace, which highlights service organizations and veteran-owned businesses. The main stage entertainment begins at 4:55 p.m. with the Coastman Chorus, followed by a performance from the American Bombshells. The Samantha Russell Band is scheduled to headline the musical portion of the evening, taking the stage at 6:05 p.m.

The centerpiece of the event is the formal tribute to service members, starting at 5:10 p.m. The program includes remarks from Boca Raton Mayor Scott Singer and City Manager Mark Sohaney, a retired U. S. Navy veteran. Guest speakers include local veterans Madeline “Maddy” Mollach of the U. S. Air Force and Commander of American Legion Post 277, John Schrey of the U. S. Marine Corps, and David Cohen, a retired U. S. Air Force veteran and Dean at Lynn University.

In addition to the tributes, the city is offering a token of gratitude for service members. Veterans who are in uniform or present a valid Military or Veteran ID card can pick up a free meal ticket from the City of Boca Raton tent, redeemable at the on-site food vendors. For all other attendees, a variety of food will be available for purchase. The event will proceed rain or shine.

City officials encourage attendees to plan their travel and parking in advance. Free and ample parking is being offered at City Hall, the Building Administration lot, and the Downtown Public Library, all located near NW 2nd Avenue. Limited parking is also available in the Mizner Park garages. As an alternative to driving, attendees can use the city’s on-demand shuttle service, BocaConnect, and bike racks are available at the amphitheater.
