Robert Mike Autuori, 42, was arrested early Tuesday morning following a traffic stop on Glades Road.
According to the probable cause affidavit reviewed by BocaNewsNow.com, a Boca Raton Police officer conducting crime suppression spotted a black 2016 Subaru Impreza traveling westbound near the 1000 block of West Glades Road just after midnight. The officer paced the vehicle at 60 mph in a 45 mph zone and initiated a traffic stop, with the car eventually pulling over near 1950 West Glades Road.
Upon checking the driver’s records, police discovered that Autuori’s license had been indefinitely suspended in January 2024 and again in March for financial responsibility issues. Records also indicated Autuori was currently on probation for possession of a controlled substance, with special conditions prohibiting him from driving or possessing illegal drugs.
After placing Autuori under arrest for driving on a suspended license and violating probation, officers conducted an inventory of his vehicle. Police allegedly found two white pills wrapped in a napkin stuffed between the front passenger seat and the center console. The pills were identified as Alprazolam, a generic form of Xanax. Police say Autuori admitted the pills were anti-anxiety medication for which he did not hold a valid prescription.
Autuori was charged with possession of Alprazolam, driving while license suspended with knowledge, and violation of probation. He was processed at the Boca Raton Police Department and subsequently booked into the Palm Beach County Jail.
