BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) —The City of Boca Raton is set to wrap up its centennial celebration this weekend with the unveiling of the Centennial Legacy Project, a vibrant collection of public art installations designed to honor the community, creativity, and local sense of place. The event is scheduled for Saturday, December 13th, at 10 a.m. at Wildflower Park. (551 East Palmetto Park Road).
The park will showcase several new Centennial-themed art experiences, including large-scale mosaic murals adorning the central restroom facility. Visitors can also look forward to the return of the popular “Mi Casa, Your Casa 2.0” swings, now featured in Centennial colors, as well as an enhanced, colorful splash pad that draws inspiration from the park’s waterfront setting.
In addition to the park features, the columns supporting the Palmetto Park Road Bridge have been transformed with creative murals that reflect the City’s natural environment. Together, these installations are intended to celebrate Boca Raton’s unique landscape, history, and local voices, leaving a lasting artistic legacy long after the centennial year concludes.
The community is invited to join this final toast to the Centennial with a day along the Intracoastal Waterway. Residents and visitors will have the opportunity to experience the park’s new art, enjoy the waterfront, and meet the artists behind the installations during the Saturday morning event.
