Then Threatens To Blow Up Building, Injure Property Manager.

PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A West Palm Beach woman is facing a felony aggravated stalking charge after allegedly terrorizing her former apartment complex management with death threats and unsanitary retaliation following her eviction. Tari Michelle Kim, 51, was investigated by the West Palm Beach Police Department after staff reported a campaign of harassment that escalated from tenant grievances to explicit threats of violence against the property manager and the manager’s family. Police say the trouble began in June 2025, shortly after eviction proceedings were initiated against Kim for disruptive behavior, and continued well after she was officially removed from the property in late August.
According to the probable cause affidavit obtained by BocaNewsNow.com, Kim sent dozens of disturbing text messages to the property management staff, including over 40 messages between October 27th and 28th alone. The messages allegedly contained racial and antisemitic slurs, homophobic insults, and graphic threats of bodily harm. Investigators documented specific texts where Kim allegedly threatened that the “building will get blown up,” stated “your family will get murdered,” and threatened to “slash his f***ing throat”. She also allegedly threatened the property manager directly, stating she would “get a gun in her face”.
The police report outlines a bizarre and unsanitary history leading up to the eviction, noting that Kim had been captured on the building’s CCTV system engaging in vandalism. Officers allege that prior to her removal, Kim was recorded smearing her dog’s feces on the hallway walls and intentionally wiping it on the door handles of other residents’ vehicles. Following her eviction on August 26, the management company sent Kim a letter stating they intended to withhold her security deposit to cover the cleaning costs and property damage caused by these incidents, which police say triggered the escalation in threats.

Investigators confirmed Kim’s identity through lease records and previous police encounters where she provided the same phone number used to send the threatening messages. A check of Verizon Wireless records further confirmed she was the subscriber of the phone used in the harassment. Based on the volume of messages and the credible fear for safety reported by the victim, police determined there was probable cause to charge Kim with aggravated stalking. She remains held on $20,000 bond Wednesday morning.
