BUFFET CART INJURY. MAJOR LAWSUIT FILED.

BOYNTON BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A New Year’s Eve lawsuit was filed following a bizarre trip-and-fall incident at a popular Boynton Beach country club. Michael Moskowitz filed a formal complaint against the Hunters Run Property Owners Association, Inc., seeking damages in excess of $50,000 following an accident at the community’s clubhouse restaurant.
The complaint, obtained by BocaNewsNow.com, alleges that on March 20, 2025, Moskowitz was visiting the clubhouse at 3500 Clubhouse Lane to eat at the buffet. According to the filing, the restaurant’s appetizer cart was negligently maintained, with its wheels reportedly sticking out in a hazardous manner. Moskowitz alleges that he tripped over the equipment and fell, resulting in significant injuries.
Attorneys for Moskowitz argue that the club failed to warn guests of the “unreasonably dangerous condition”. The lawsuit claims that the hazard was either known to the association or had existed long enough that staff should have been aware of the danger and addressed it. The filing specifically notes that the injury resulted in hospitalization, medical expenses, and a loss of earnings for the plaintiff.
In addition to medical costs, the complaint seeks compensation for pain and suffering, disability, and the aggravation of a previously existing condition, asserting that these losses are permanent or continuing. The lawsuit was filed by the law firm Kogan and DiSalvo. Hunters Run has not filed a response as of New Year’s Day.
