BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Welcome to the first “Boca Rudeton: Parking Edition” of 2026. We occasionally paws — (pun intended) — our reporting on selfish people who (seemingly) illegally bring their dogs into supermarkets and restaurants to show other rude things that people do. And today, that thing is parking. Alternatively titled: “how did these people get a license?” — we share what are our tipsters saw while out and about in Palm Beach County. Due to other serious news over the past few days, we’re keeping this short today. Dogs return next week — keep all your submissions coming.

Addison Reserve Publix on Jog Road.

We start at the Addison Reserve Publix on Jog Road. That’s where we find this motorcycle with Florida tag MXYR97 creatively parked in the handicap accessible section of a handicap space in the lot. This appears to be blatantly illegal and makes access to an accessible van challenging if someone needed to extend a ramp to get a wheelchair out. Nothing says “South Palm Beach County” more than what may have been a middle age guy who was probably auditoning for a Viagra ad by riding his super-cool motorcycle around, then parking in a space that’s needed by people who may not have an issue getting it up, but quite simply getting out.

The “Uptown Boca” shopping center.

We head now to the Uptown Boca shopping area — off Glades Road between Lyons and U.S. 441. That’s where we find this Chrysler Pacifica with Florida tag KV963Y. Perhaps the “Y” in the license plate is shorthand for “Why is this person parked so far over the line that anyone in a nearby space won’t be able to get out of their car?”

Publix at Jog and Boynton Beach Boulevard.

At the Publix shopping center at Jog Road and Boynton Beach Boulevard in Boynton Beach, a picture is truly worth 1000 words. Although you really only need one. Actually, three letters: WTF? We don’t know why this person would leave their car halfway in the lane of traffic, but that’s the special experience you get when you drive in South Florida. We don’t have a license plate to share, but if you a see car that looks like this in the area of Jog and Boynton Beach Boulevard, you may want to stay away.

Royal Palm Place.

And in Royal Palm Place, we find this Lexus with Florida plate FBF. It’s easy to see. Just as easy as the signs that tell drivers which way to park. And it’s not this way. We’re unclear why it’s so difficult to park in the direction that traffic flows, but apparently the driver of this Lexus find normalcy challenging.

And back to Uptown Boca. We weren’t going to run this photo but gave it some thought and don’t disagree with another tipster who wonders why people are leaving carts in handicap spots, and secondly, why shopping center management isn’t doing a better job keeping these areas clear. We wonder if it’s an ADA lawsuit waiting to happen…

Our winner isn’t even a guess this week. It’s absolutely the Viagra ad we mean motorcycle driver who parked in the handicap space in the Addison Reserve Publix shopping center. What a special, special human being. We are pleased to present to this driver a certificate that can be used to appear in one tv commercial for E.D. meds.

Congrats to the driver of that motorcycle with Florida tag MXYR97 in the handicap space. We look forward to seeing you in a medication commercial.
