A Palm Beach County teen allegedly threatened a cop on a recorded jail phone line.

PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A West Palm Beach teenager is back behind bars after authorities say he was caught on a recorded jailhouse phone line threatening to kill a law enforcement officer. Dalani Millson, 18, was recently arrested the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office. The arrest stems from an investigation into phone calls Millson made while he was already incarcerated at a local detention center earlier in December.

According to a probable cause affidavit reviewed by BocaNewsNow.com, an agent with the Loxahatchee Street Crimes Unit was reviewing jail calls from December 18th when he heard Millson speaking with his girlfriend. During the conversation, investigators say Millson made a specific threat against the agent’s life, stating that as soon as he was released, he planned to go to the agent’s home to “beat me up, and shoot up my house”. Millson reportedly stopped himself abruptly after the comment, noting he had forgotten the phone lines were being recorded.

The agent involved stated the threat caused him to fear for his life, citing Millson’s history of violence and previous weapons-related offenses. Records show Millson was already on five years of felony probation—which only began in late 2024—for charges including the unlawful carrying of a concealed firearm and discharging a firearm from a vehicle. Because he allegedly committed a new crime while under supervision, Millson is now facing a violation of probation charge in addition to the new felony count.

Millson was spotted by the same agent on December 31st driving a Mazda at a Publix on Seminole Pratt Whitney Road. He was taken into custody without incident during a traffic stop around 4:00 p.m.. He is currently being held at the Palm Beach County Jail on a “no bond” status for the probation violation.
