UPDATE: 6:37 p.m. — Police tell us that no foul play is suspected.
UPDATE: 5:47 p.m. — We are still awaiting an update from police but it appears that there is no search for a suspect.
UPDATE 2:01 p.m: Sources tell BocaNewsNow.com the person sustained a gunshot wound to the torso. It’s unclear if it was self-inflicted.
BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A deceased person was found in a Boca Raton motel mid-afternoon Sunday.
Sources tell BocaNewsNow.com that the body was discovered in the Quality Inn motel in the 2800 block of North Federal Highway. Police were apparently called to the scene for a wellness check. They utlimatley determined the person was dead.
It was not immediately clear if police believe the person died of natural causes or if this is the early stages of a criminal investigation. We are awaiting further information from Boca Raton Police.
