BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Graduation rates in Palm Beach County are on the rise again, but not one high school in Boca Raton has a 100-percent graduation rate. Several high schools in the county, however, do.

According to new data released by the Florida Department of Education, the countywide graduation rate for 2025 makes the school district the second best-performing in Florida. PBSD graduations rose to 93.5 percent, up from 92.1 percent the previous year. This figure, which includes both district-operated and charter schools, now exceeds the state’s historic-high average by 1.3 percentage points.

The numbers are stronger when isolating district-operated schools, which saw a jump from 95.9 percent to 96.7 percent. Superintendent Mike Burke credits the success to a district-wide push for higher standards.

“Maintaining high graduation rates requires a relentless focus on academic excellence and a commitment to preparing every student to be college and workforce ready,” Burke said. “This success affirms our status as an ‘A’ rated, Academically High-Performing School District and is driven by the collective effort of ‘Team Palm Beach’ and the support of our community.”

Ten high schools posted graduation rates of 99 percent or higher, with Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts, Suncoast Community High, Village Academy, Palm Beach Virtual, and Royal Palm School all hitting 100 percent. Additionally, schools like Wellington Community High and West Boca Raton Community High were close, but not perfect.
