BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The Palm Beach County School District will be classless on Wednesday. The school district is holding a teacher “in-service” day — meaning there are no classes for students. If you’re a parent or guardian and forgot that you have to find care for your child or children on Wednesday, this is your reminder.
The school district last held no classes on January 19th. That followed the “in-service” day granted to teachers on Tuesday, January 5th, after two weeks of winter break.
Spring break for students starts on Monday, March 16th. It will continue until students return to school on Tuesday, March 23rd. Why a six day vacation? Because teachers again have an “in-service” day after being off for a week.
Public school students be off again on April 3rd and then May 25th. The public school year ends on May 29th.
