DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens is preparing set for an evening of flavor and tradition for its annual “A Taste of Asia: A Culinary and Cultural Experience.” Scheduled for Saturday, March 7, the event invites guests to spend an evening under the stars from 6:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. It’s a chance to explore the museum’s gardens after dark while enjoying a high-end showcase of Asian heritage.

Attendees will receive a culinary “passport” to navigate a selection of South Florida’s most celebrated restaurants. The lineup features some of the area’s favorites like Nobu Miami, Sushi Yasu Tanaka, and Kapow! Noodle Bar, offering a diverse spread of Asian-inspired dishes. Also featured: curated sake tastings, Japanese beer from Brewsaki, and fine wines from Niigata Sake Selections and Winebow Fine Wines & Spirits.

For entertainment: Taiko drumming by Fushu Daiko alongside live music from 8 Bit Wave. Guests can also watch art happen through a live painting session by Japanese ink artist Kimata Yasunori and calligraphy demonstrations. The event will host both silent and online auctions featuring luxury hotel stays, fine jewelry, and unique art pieces.

All proceeds from the gala directly support Morikami’s “4 E’s” mission: Education, Exhibitions, Expansion, and Emotional well-being programs. Since its opening in 1977, the Morikami has been a cultural cornerstone in Delray Beach, and this event helps sustain its six historic gardens and diverse educational outreach for the South Florida community.

Tickets for the event are priced at $300 per person and are available through the museum’s official website. For those interested in attending or seeking more details, the Morikami is located at 4000 Morikami Park Road. You can reach the museum directly at (561) 495-0233 or contact event coordinator Sharyn Samuels at (561) 233-1316 to learn more about how to participate in this year’s cultural celebration.
