Boca Helping Hands Helping Jett And Luke Justin Help Others…

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — What started as a childhood realization for two local brothers has grown into a massive community effort to ensure no family in South Florida goes without a bowl of cereal. Jett and Luke Justin, the 18-year-old twins behind the nonprofit Cereal4All, are launching their annual Spring Cereal Drive with an ambitious goal: collecting over 6,000 pounds of cereal to benefit Boca Helping Hands (BHH). Now seniors at American Heritage School, the duo hopes this year’s drive will provide roughly 60,000 breakfasts to neighbors who rely on the nonprofit’s five distribution centers for their weekly groceries.
The mission hit home for the Justin brothers back in 2016 when they discovered a surprising gap in local food pantries. While volunteering at BHH, they learned that breakfast foods are among the most requested items but the least likely to be donated. “Cereal is about starting the day with a sense of normalcy and happiness,” Jett Justin explained, noting that the shortage bothered them because, like most kids, they loved cereal. Since then, their “Oatmeal Airlift” missions have expanded far beyond Boca Raton, reaching 22 states and international locations like Toronto and the Bahamas, totaling over 700,000 bowls of cereal delivered to date.
Boca Helping Hands, which began as a small soup kitchen in 1998, has seen the need for its services skyrocket, providing more than 3.5 million meals in 2025 alone. The organization focuses on providing a “hand up” to families living at or below the poverty level, and cereal has become a staple in the pantry bags they distribute. By providing these familiar breakfast items, BHH and Cereal4All aim to give families a sense of stability and a bright start to their day, proving that a simple box of Flakes or O’s can make a significant difference in the fight against hunger.
This spring, the momentum continues as 20 Palm Beach County schools join forces with local heavyweights like Publix, Whole Foods, and Target to support the drive. To keep students energized, participating schools are even eligible for prize drawings featuring tickets from the Miami Marlins and Florida Panthers. Neighbors who want to help fill the bowls of local families can drop off cereal boxes at participating schools or reach out to BHH directly.
